Online training sessions

When you have registered and your payment has been received, you will have access to the documentation and you will see a button that will give you access to the online training session. The trainer will be online approximately 10 minutes before the session begins so that you can test your connection.
However, the trainer cannot assist you with technical difficulties or with configuring your computer. If you experience technical difficulties, please contact our technical support department:
Between 8AM and 10 PM, 7 days a week

Toll free: 1866 843-4848, extension 1
You must have access to a computer in a quiet room and reliable Internet access. A wired Internet connection is preferable to a Wifi connection. Wifi connections can sometimes be unreliable and participants may be disconnected from the training session if their connection drops. We suggest using the following Internet browsers: Firefox or Internet Explorer/Edge. Logging on using Google Chrome can cause issues with your sound and microphone. You do not have to have a webcam or a microphone, but if you do, you will be better equipped to interact with the trainer and ask questions. You will be able to hear the trainer’s explanations and type questions using a chat application. A microphone may be useful for asking questions verbally rather than via a chat application. During presentations, participants cameras are generally switched off to cut down on connection issues.
Yes, our training sessions can be accessed using tablets and smartphones. However, the video quality will be reduced compared to the quality when accessing the course from a computer because you will be connecting via Wifi. Please read the answers to the following question: Do I need anything in particular in order to take an online course?

During the training session, you will hear the trainer’s explanations and you can type questions using a chat application.

You can also use the States button.

Click on “Raise your hand” to ask the trainer a question.

The trainer will hear a sound and then read the question you have typed in the chat application or they will ask you to turn on your microphone so that you can ask a question verbally.

The trainer may also ask the participants questions and ask you to provide an answer or select an option.

We strongly suggest that you take the online training course in a quiet, closed room where there are no distractions.
