You must have access to a computer in a quiet room and reliable Internet access. A wired Internet connection is preferable to a Wifi connection. Wifi connections can sometimes be unreliable and participants may be disconnected from the training session if their connection drops.
We suggest using the following Internet browsers: Firefox or Internet Explorer/Edge. Logging on using Google Chrome can cause sound and microphone problems.
You are not required to have a webcam or a microphone, but if you do, you will be better equipped to interact with the trainer and ask questions.
You will be able to hear the trainer’s explanations and type questions using a chat application.
A microphone may be useful for asking questions verbally rather than via a chat application.
During presentations, participants’ cameras are generally turned off to minimize connection issues.
During the training session, you will hear the trainer’s explanations and will be able to type questions using a chat application.
You can also use the States button.
Click on “Raise your hand” to ask the trainer a question.
The trainer will hear a sound and then read the question you have typed in the chat application or will ask you to turn on your microphone so that you can ask a question verbally.
The trainer may also ask questions to the participants and ask you to provide an answer or select an option.
